College Story Podcast Part II

Intro: “Hello, my name is Lizzie Brytowski and through my first semester of college we had to record audio journal entries every week to track our progress throughout the semester. I had a few goals in mind for the start of the semester, I wanted to have a good group of friends, I wanted to be better with time management and I wanted to have a good knowledge of my surroundings and be more comfortable at school. I have a few examples from past audio journal entries where I talk about these goals and I also talk about my progression through the year and some different things I had noticed while being here.”

(Input Audio Journal Entries and talk about them)

Outro: “As you can hear from these audio journal entries throughout the semester, I realized a lot of different things I was not expecting. For example, I was not expecting to carpool everywhere since not all of my friends have their cars here. AI talked about that briefly but it was not something I was ready for. I also talk about the time management that I wanted to improve on and how much time you really have to do all of your work because the classes are only an hour and twenty minutes long so there is a lot of extra time. Being able to look back on each week of the semester and all of the things I had talked about or was excited for made me realize that being in college has made me grow as a person and become a better student. Comparing how nervous I was in the beginning of the school year to now is a great feeling knowing I am happy where I am and all of the stress I had in the beginning paid off.”
