I am on the UNE varsity softball team and on October 4th we had our play day. It was my first time playing in a game for UNE and I was extremely nervous, but I actually did pretty decent. We had a double header against Saint Joseph’s and I pitched a total of six innings throughout our two games. We ended up winning the first game 5-4, but unfortunately lost the second game in extra innings 10-13. I was happy with the way the team had played and it was really fun to finally play in a game together as a group. Down below is a picture of me hitting the ball during our first game.
