In our LIL 120 class Professor Cripps invited our class on a boat ride down the Saco River to look at the fall foliage. It was really nice to be out on the water again, because one of my favorite things is the water and being out on a boat is really soothing. I made a joke as we got on the boat about letting me drive and the man who was supposed to be driving the boat let me drive for the first half hour of our trip. I had never driven a boat before but it was a skill I had always wanted to have and it was really nice learning how to. I learned a lot about the Saco River and about the areas around UNE, and I learned how to drive a boat so I had fun and learned a lot.
