“Opinion: Scrutinize the dangers of your favorite platform’s algorithm” by Will Chadwick is an opinion piece about the relationship between social media and politics. Chadwick explains how social media is a way that 75% of Americans find out politics through social media and it is how most politicians can campaign. He also elaborates on how social media is not a good way to figure out politics because people create many fake accounts and spread fake news all throughout every platform. Chadwick explains what the platform X is and President Donald Trump’s policies on it, and how he has tried to stop the spread of fake news.
